The C1M 1/4 pairs a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Appointments include a traditional rosette, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and gold tuning machines with pearl buttons. This instrument is best suited for children 4-6 years old, or 3'3" - 3'9" tall. The C1M 1/4 is strung with high tension strings which are meant to be used in standard E tuning. Because the scale length is so short, the tension will be somewhat low compared to a full sized guitar, but it will still play well in standard tuning.
