The Kay Pro Bass, a reissue of the classic K162, has the volume and bite of an electric bass guitar, but when plucked softly, sounds like an upright bass.

Solo and rhythm effects are unlimited. Get that unique Chicago-style jazzy blues sound from the semi-hollowbody chamber design and single-coil blade pickup.

A special dual-capacitor switch kicks the Pro Bass into overdrive. It cuts the high range and adds punch and the deep tone of a standup bass. Includes hardshell case.

The K5970V Jazz Special Bass has a long scale semi-hollow body and features a single coil pickup, rosewood bridge and fingerboard.

The Jazz Special Bass has been the most coveted Kay Model by collectors and is very rare.

It was featured on the cover of McCartney's 45-rpm single "Jet" and again in the video "Ebony and Ivory" and was the bass used the band, The Sufaris", in the '60s to record the hit "Wipeout".

This edition was developed and created by world-renowned luthier Roger Fritz.

Known for its subsonic low end and slim neck as well as its woody tone, the hollow body construction and exclusive bracing system make this bass ideal for live and studio use. The luncheonette countertop pickguard combined with the Kel-von-a-tor headstock gives the Jazz Special bass its avant-garde appeal. Includes hardshell case.

Epiphone T-Bird Pro -VI Bass

The classic Thunderbird Bass has become a virtual institution in pop music. Now Epiphone introduces the new Professional Series Thunderbird™ PRO. The Thunderbird is the ultimate rock and roll bass with the world-famous distinctive shape. First released in 1963, the Thunderbird PRO combines traditional design elements with cutting edge technology and all for a price that every working bassist can afford.

When the Thunderbird IV was first introduced it instantly became one of rock’s most recognizable bass guitar designs. For almost five decades, the Thunderbird has powered artists as varied as Nikki Sixx, The Who, Kings of Leon, Cheap Trick, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steely Dan and The Silversun Pickups. Turn on your radio and you’ll hear a Thunderbird bass. Now, Epiphone takes all the vintage mojo of the original Thunderbird IV and sends it flying into the future with Gibson TB Plus™ humbuckers with ceramic magnets and all the ’Bird’s original styling and features intact.

The Thunderbird IV was one of the most radical designs to come out of the Gibson and Epiphone Kalamazoo factory in the early ’60s, thanks to legendary automotive designer Ray Dietrich, who was asked to put a new twist on solidbody guitars and basses. The sound of the Thunderbird IV was as cutting edge as its design and now the Thunderbird Classic-IV PRO returns with all of Epiphone’s first-class quality and a lifetime guarantee, but without the hassles of owning (or hiding) a vintage instrument. This instrument has a slight discoloration on the top side of the neck which has no impact whatsoever on the playability or cosmetic appeal of this awesome instrument. See last picture below.

PRODUCT FEATURES • Epiphone T-PRO™ bass humbuckers • Classic through-neck construction • Flush-Mount, fully adjustable

First introduced in 1960, the Jazz Bass has withstood the test of time to become one of the most played and recorded instruments in modern music history. Inspired by the original, the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass is an incredibly affordable instrument with the classic J Bass offset-waist body, fast-action neck, and dual single-coil pickups. Squier's Classic Vibe '60s J Bass is remarkably comfortable to play and lets you pull off extremely tight runs and grooves with ease. Of course, it also delivers the legendary punchy bass sound you can only get from a pair of Jazz Bass pickups. Timeless single-coil bass sound Although the versatile Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass sounds great in just about any context, it really shines on musical styles that rely on that classic scooped, growling bass sound. That being said, you can achieve a myriad of tones by blending the volume of both Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups to taste. Whether you play rock or country, funk or blues, or (naturally) jazz, the Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass will deliver the tone you need. Shaped for comfort and performance One of the things that made the J Bass an instant hit with working bass players was its unique offset-waist body shape. Perfect whether playing standing or seated, the classic Jazz Bass contoured body will make those marathon gigs and sessions much more comfortable. With its slim C-profile neck that's only 1.5" wide at the nut, this instrument was originally designed to appeal to jazz bassists. The slender neck not only facilitates the fluid execution of fast, complex bass lines; it's perfect for any musical style — which is why you hear the Jazz Bass in every genre of music. Join the ranks of Jazz Bass players Pick up the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass and you've got affordable entrée into the company of some of the greatest bass players of all time. World-renowned bassists such as Jaco Pastorius, Geddy Lee, Marcus Miller, Larry Graham, John Paul Jones, and Victor Bailey all chose the J Bass as their go-to axe. Sweetwater's advice: If you want the iconic round and punchy, growling J Bass sound along with effortless playability — and an amazing value, to boot — you're on the right page. Pick up the Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass and drive your music with legendary tone. Squier Classic Vibe '60s Jazz Bass Features: • Poplar body, gloss polyurethane finish • Maple neck, C profile, 34" scale length • Indian laurel fingerboard, 9.5" radius, 20 Narrow Tall frets, dot inlays • 2 Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups • Bridge and Neck Volume controls • Master Tone control • 4-saddle Vintage-style bridge • 1.5" synthetic bone nut • Vintage-style tuners

The SLAMMER by Hamer CP-4/SB electric bass features the typical P-bass configuration with split pickup and master volume and master tone controls. The black double-cutaway body also sports a maple neck capped with a 20-fret rosewood fretboard. The nice white pearloid pickguard gives the bass a gorgeous appearance.

This bass is used in excellent condition. While they are difficult to spot in the photos, the bass does have a few tiny henpecks, gloss scratches and weathered screws. Overall, it's in excellent condition. There is little to no fretwear and the fretboard is also in nice shape. The pickup sounds great for an inexpensive bass. It does include a hard shell case which by default will increase the shipping cost. Feel free to make an offer without the case. Padded Gig bags are available however for $29.99

Ibanez AVNB1FE-BV Artwood Bass

The new Ibanez AVNB1FE fretless acoustic bass is another wonderful instrument from the Ibanez Artwood series of acoustic bass guitars. The AVNB1FE is a short scale parlor body acoustic bass guitar. Its shorter scale is close to a regular guitar scale, and is easier for both guitar and bass players to play. The compact parlor body makes it delightfully comfortable to hold.

Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top, this parlor-style acoustic bass puts out an impressive level of volume and rich tone — the type you typically find in acoustic basses at a higher price point. The AVNB1FE features a mahogany back, sides, and neck with a maple fingerboard with classic white dot inlays.

The AVNB1FE also comes with a Fishman Sonicore pickup that translates the vintage tone of the AVNB1FE beautifully when amplified. If you're looking for an acoustic bass that both looks and sounds truly vintage, the AVNB1FE is an absolute must-have.

Cultured Maple fretboard & bridge Cultured Maple is an engineered tonewood made up of Maple and epoxy. By mixing and compressing with epoxy resin, the wood becomes stronger and more stable, and offers a smooth feel and a solid yet fat sound with no dead points on the fretboard.

Strings D'Addario® EXPBB190GS strings are brand new and specially designed by D’Addario with the help of Taylor guitars for the Taylor GS Mini Bass.
